Stacy Burnham - Staci
Born in Panama City Beach, Florida, Stacy Burnham spent most of her young life
in the Southern states. Like other cast members of The Five Stages of Beer she
resolved to enter show business at an early age. That resolve culminated in
her theatrical stage debut, at age 7, playing a pig in the stage production
of Charlottes Web in Birmingham, Alabama. Though some might consider it
an inauspicious start, it was her first taste of acting. And she has continued
to study and work in theater ever since.
After several years of honing her skills on stage, the decision was made to
find her place in film. That decision, of course, lead her to Los Angeles only
a few years ago. A smart move considering that shortly after her arrival she
landed her first television appearance on the UPN network Sci-Fi series Seven
Days,
Since then, she has starred in a number of independent shorts and features including
Heroins Child; Dealing with Love; Second Sight; and He Sang for a Cowgirl,
which was produced in French; as well as the theatrical trailers Thunderbird
and Gencode. Her independent feature film credits include starring roles in
the films Quiet Kill; Wishes; and Learning to Surf, which has not only received
great reviews at film festivals but also won the award for best director at
the Indievision Festival at New York Citys Tribeca Film Center.
"The Five Stages of Beer gave me the opportunity to play a lead singer
in a rock band, which is something Ive always secretly wanted to do,"
says Stacy. And she also mentions that she had an amazing time working with
everyone on this project and is grateful to have been a part of such a wonderful
experience.
The production thoroughly enjoyed working with her as much as enjoyed working
with them.
